That's that for another year (12th night empty wall blues strike...)

Sad, so sad....but true!
So, the Christmas decorations are down. The laundry is done and the empty space on the wall where the tree was keeps catching my eye in like a hole in your mouth when a tooth's been pulled. There go the festivities for another year, and we're back to overcrowded gyms, empty pubs (pah! As if) and the great return to the packed lunch effort.

Two days into work and already I feel like the "to do" list is overwhelming, and positivity might be elusive in a few months. However, I think that's residual stress from 2015 talking - actually everything is do-able if I just breathe, calm and concentrate on one thing at a time.

Must remember that in a flap. It really only stresses me out to panic, nothing actually gets done and no task is as hard or tricky as I think it is once I actually just look at it.

Kind of sums up the procrastination over the Christmas decorations, laundry and cooking I've been feeling for a while. Today I got up off my bottom and just got on with my list. Other than hanging all the gear I took home for Christmas, I'm done! Not to mention discovering a potentially quite tasty recipe for honey garlic chicken online...*slurp* tomorrow hopefully!

I've also managed to watch five episodes of the current boxset to boot. Although that little factoid is both the reason this post is late and why I will likely be tired and cranky tomorrow!

In other news, I got three new matches on my old dating site today and then a message hailing my as a goddess. Imagine my delight.

Imagine how that knowing smile fell as I proceeded to note the shapely legs in the picture, clad in black sheeny stockings - yes "StockingWearer2000" would like to show his appreciation. What on earth does one make of that?! Seriously - my list is human, not Quasimodo, sense of humour, brain / spelling capability. Do I now need to add things like "doesn't wear stockings regularly"?!?!

Happy Tuesday night slumbers on that note...

xoxo
